This would be labelled cultural appropriation today by the ignorant leftoids....
I am,I have this recold on a 7" recold which I purchased from the say it was released, all nighters were my scene soul an northern
There is some stank and funk on that one.
Wow love this look at Wolfman Jack so cool!
He was extremely popular in the 1980s!!
Pocita locita yeah ❤️❤️❤️💥💥💥
This was my wedding song.
Wolf man had a voice over in songs over a period of 15 or20 years with different groups
Poor Freda. She thought she really scored. She gave him all her love but little did she know,...he was playing on a different team.
Donald didn't promote. This group right....
1974
One of the best songs from the 70s..
This is sooooooooo good!
I was 11 when this came out and I remember recording it from the radio with a microphone on my 1st little tape recorder. I used a microphone because I had never heard of RCA Aux jacks to plug in directly to stereos. Even as a kid I had great taste in music.
Well, there's nothing more seventies than a Jew with an Afro
Brings back great memories
Haven't played it a lot in 2024, but have played it frequently through the years as its my favourite song of the 60's.i have it on 45 vinyl in my collection. Ah , apparently it was out in 1970, my bad......
Beatles and Stevie Wonder licks in there
🌷I wonder whatever happened to this group? They just faded out, i don't even see them on Unsung! 🌺
So incredible beautiful. She reminds me of one of the many beautiful women on the old Star Trek programs.
I was at Tuy Hoa Air Base Vietnam 1970 when I first heard this song! i said WOW,this girl could sing! Bring the boys home!
Also if ya dig this song by Sugarloaf on youtube you may enjoy Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on UA-cam. 😀
❤GREAT SONG
Didn’t associate the song with the artist until I played it (my bad!). Just another one of my favs from the golden 70’s.
76 and still listening and rocking.
That was the Wolfman
Yeah, well I meant to say was I had a guy was definitely somebody that look like it worth me and sounded like they were bad but I don’t know I don’t wanna start any trouble here. I just got here.
Yeah yeah yeah I think that was it was bad too but I don’t wanna start any rumors you know OK?
Smoked Acapulco gold that year stay lifted people ...
1:48 Reference to the Beatles
1:35 Definitely Wolfman Jack…!!!!!!!!!!
1:20 That’s fucking definitely Wolfman Jack …!!!
"sounds like John,Paul, and George", what about Sir Richard Starkly?
Brings back sweet memories indeed 😊
Wolf man
Beautiful and so fine dudes
This used to get played in a club I was going to in 1978 (At the time I was too young to be legally in the club) I considered it an "oldy" having been released in 1970.......time eh how deceiving it is😂
She was cute as hell! A great artist! ☆☆☆☆☆ 💯
No, it isn't Wolfman Jack on the record. It was a DJ imitating him. WJ later appeared with them on THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL, but what you're hearing is the released version of the song on record, not from the TV show.
Me. I was 14 then.
BRILLIANT SONG AND A TRULY WONDERFUL LADY 👏 REMEMBER VERY WELL. MUSIC TRULY IS AMAZING 👏 🙌 😍 💕
My kind of dancing are they doing? 🙄 Love this song ❤
A really cool song!!!!
I hear a Beatles lick in there.
she was gorgeous and could really move
Like getting up in the morning and the view of The Chrysler Building right outside your window.
Mr.Byrd took a break here, still harmonizing, masters!!👏🏽👌🏽✊🏽
Sugarloaf had the best rock organ solos!
The 70s Was the good life
Howard University's own Dr. Byrd. Class of '74. Before my time but still a great song😮
